A little chaotic, a little wild. Welcome to my world.

My work explores themes of delight, whimsy, and the magic found within the simplicities of life. Rather than engaging with heavy narratives, I am interested in the value of connection, humour, and enjoyment of the passage of time. If something makes you smile, warms your heart, or sparks a chuckle, I believe it holds meaning — meaning that can be found in the bright moments and the things that bring joy, just as much as in the harder avenues of growth.

For me, art is escape and delight. We have enough trauma – art is the crack that lets in humanity and joy.

Visually, I work with wild, chaotic elements of nature and animals, rendered in bright colours and playful patterns; primarily in acrylics on surfaces ranging from canvas and wood to plaster and clay.

Currently, I’m focused on two core series of works: small, painted plaster sculptures called Spirit Men, embodying human moods and quiet magic, and large-format canvases titled Expressions, inspired by idioms such as “tickled me pink”, “arse about face” and “too far down the rabbit hole.”
